Quilting Classes
We are very excited to present ARLENE WALSH....
Arlene Walsh is a self-taught quilt maker who began designing wall quilts more than forty years ago. These designs include simple applique shapes with beads, thread and dimensional fabric embellishments. In 1994 Arlene began publishing more than 100 quilting patterns. She also does copper jewelry and chatelaines. She has taught and lectured all over the southwest at quilt shops, clubs, guilds and the Central Arizona College. Her whole focus is to create quilts that can be enjoyed as hanging art rather than bed quilts. Currently, her designs include southwest motifs textured with bead embroidery.
Arlene will be presenting a trunk show of her quilts and works of art at our store Saturday, February 25, 9:30am-10:30am. Cost will be $10.00. Sign up early as space is limited and you don’t want to miss this special presentation.
