Show And Tell 

Our California Bus Trip Weekend was a lot of fun!!!

The bus picked up 36 Mystery Weekend students in California at our old store parking lot. They rode to Arizona playing games, talking, laughing and napping. Arriving at our store around 5:30pm where we were waiting for them with hot dogs and all the trimmings.  After eating, setting up their sewing machines and looking around the store, the bus took them to their hotel to check into their rooms and get settled. Later that evening we caught up with them at their hotel. We had fabric kits prepared for them to choose and all they had to do that evening was a little bit of cutting. After breakfast the next morning, the bus brought them to the store where they began sewing their mystery quilt. They sewed all day with a break for lunch which we provided at the store. We revealed the quilt and showed them what it was going to look like when it was done. Everyone loved it!! The bus returned at about 5:30pm to take us all to Tagliani for dinner. We had a wonderful meal and a chance to visit and laugh some more. We returned to the store to continue sewing until 9:00pm when the bus took them back to their hotel. After breakfast the next morning we met at their hotel and had "show and tell". They packed up and boarded the bus for their trip home. I think everyone had a great time, I know we sure did!! They want to do it again next year, but add another day!!
